Working with Rawhide

Rawhide is a dried skin. Rawhide is used in earth living to make storage boxes, shoe soles, insulations, rattles and drums. In this one day introductory class, participants will learn about the different grades of rawhide and what can be made in each stage of rawhide making process. Participants will experience working with rawhide by making a small pouch or rattle.
